Intensive Training: Talent Den offers a rigorous, professional-level training for serious actors and singers of all ages, compared to the more child-centered hobbyist focus of The Bennett Academy and other local theater schools.

• Holistic Innovative Approach: Our no frills curriculum includes not just performance but also industry insights, networking opportunities, and career coaching from top Talent and Casting Agents, and successful alumni.

• Education to Professional Industry Pipeline: While we love community theater, our intermediate and advanced students work in more professional films, theater, and concerts within one year of registration.

• Financial Programs: Students can apply to short term Clinics and gain the same access as full time students. They can schedule 2 week, 4 week and 8 week clinics, based on their personal schedule and finances. Clinic students will get access to discounted Master Classes, making it easy for them to still recieve the best arts education as their full time collegues.

• Global Reach: Through our Virtual Program, students are not limited to Westchester County, NY. We have built the careers of performers nationally and internationally. Students always have their coaches available, during tours, while on set, and before concerts and auditions.

• Artist Development: We hold our client’s hand while they build their career, we work as managers, give guidance, and help the artist pivot or stay on task for success.

Policies &Procedures

1. Subscribing to lessons and classes automatically binds client to Agreements.

2. ONLINE REGISTRATION INFORMATION:

   Online Registration: . Registration is collected at each lesson and class payment link.

3. Group Programs are full year programs-there is no withdrawal after the two week grace period. (a). New Students: Prospective new students are encouraged to schedule a placement consultation to help advise them in their choice of lesson/classes. The consultation fee is $50. Call the Studio to schedule an appointment (914)-661-2143. (b). Payment Instructions• An annual $60 per student fee for each new and returning student is due at the time of registration.

4. A credit card number is kept on file for all payment plans.The first payment is due upon registration plus the annual registration

Payments will be processed the the day of registration and per month thereafter. .Withdrawal and Tuition Refund Policy•• For Private Lessons-there are no refunds after the two week grace period, and for group classes there are no refunds once the student is officially registered.•• Partial refunds may be considered for extenuating circumstances such as prolonged illness. • (c) Withdrawal notification must be submitted to the studio in writing ( email)

6. Failure to attend classes/lessons does NOT qualify as notification. Failure to notify the office does not release a student/parent/guardian from his/her financial obligation. Your credit card on file will be charged. Unexplained absences not given 24 hours in advance will be a PAID lesson. Teachers are paid if a student does not show up to a lesson or class. The make up lesson for that missed lesson is also paid lesson.•• The Talent Den reserves the right to cancel a group class due to insufficient enrollment. If a class is cancelled, full tuition and any applicable registration fees will be refunded to the students.

7. Delinquent Accounts The Talent Den reserves the right to stop a student's instructional activities if there is a declined card. Classes will resume when payments are cleared. There is a $40 Fee for all declined cards The $40 will be charged immediately.There is a $25 fee added to accounts were the student/client has an unexplained absence. To get our students ready for recitals and/theater productions, there are only 3 excused absences allowed for each semester Extremely late lessons will not be made up.

8. Tardiness and Make-Up Lessons• The Talent Den policies have been developed to encourage and promote exciting and enjoyable study of music to our students. Therefore, regular attendance by students is expected. Students who arrive late cannot be guaranteed a full class/lesson. There are no make-ups for missed group classes. Most Group classes have rehearsal lessons to prepare for performances. Therefore most group classes will be made up by the end of the year.• All private lessons and group classes will be made up for teacher absences.• Weather closure make-ups will be made for each student.• Make-up lessons are given at the end of each semester unless both the instructor and student agree upon an alternative time. Once a student has used all regular make-up lessons, additional absences due to illness may be made up with advance notice if a time should become available during the teacher's regularly scheduled hours.

9. Make-up lessons missed by a student for any reason will not be rescheduled or refunded. Students who withdraw or quit lessons with out notice will be charged a $50 fee and forfeit any make-up lessons they are owed.
